ABOUT ME

Portrait Colour 2.jpg

Since 2015 I have worked as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) within the Integrated Musculoskeletal and Pain Service (IMAPS) at Barts Health NHS Trust, where I am also Clinical Lead for Mile End Hospital Outpatient Physiotherapy Team.

In 2017, I went part-time whilst I started a family of my own and worked part-time in the private sector in and around Essex. I started my own service to offer high quality physiotherapy for musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions in the comfort of the patients own home.

I qualified in 2003 with a BSc (hons) Physiotherapy degree from Brighton University. I started working in a large teaching hospital in London where I gained invaluable experience completing junior rotations.  For 18 months I continued to expand my knowledge and experience in a variety of Physiotherapy specialities at the Repatriation General Hospital in South Australia. This provided me with a broad spectrum of training, skill and practical experience, which I put into practice when recommencing work within the NHS.

On returning to the UK I specialised in musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at St George’s Hospital in South London, then at Barts Health NHS Trust.  In 2019 I successfully gained a Pg Dip in Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from the University of Hertfordshire.

I have a passion for working with all musculoskeletal conditions especially total hip, shoulder and knee replacement patients both pre and post operatively. Also neck and back pain patients with referred arm and leg pain.

I am a married, Mum of 2 who likes to keep fit and healthy myself and have first-hand experience of post op rehab having had a knee op myself! I am friendly, approachable and motivated, if you would like to ask me about your condition then please email liz@etphysiotherapy.co.uk and I will aim to get back to you within 24 hours.
